Lincoln has introduced the 2015 MKC crossover - a vehicle that should “fuel the brand’s reinvention”... again - at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show this week.
Slightly toned down when compared to the concept car we’ve seen in Detroit earlier this year, the new MKC offers “an assortment of first-in-class-features” in terms of convenience and luxury, including Bridge of Weir leather, real wood trim, bush-button gear shifter, a state-of-the-art THX II Certified Audio System and SYNC with MyLincoln Touch and class-exclusive 8-inch touch screen.
An important highlight is to be found under the hood as well, were the MKC has received a brand new 2.3-liter EcoBoost besides the familiar 2.0-liter unit. Rated at 275 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque, the 2.3 four-potter also previews the engine that will be fitted in the 2015 Ford Mustang.
2015 Lincoln MKC production will begin in the second quarter of 2014 and first deliveries are expected to commence next summer.
