Introduced as a concept car at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show in January, the 2015 Lincoln MKC has been finally revealed as a production vehicle. Described a “a unique creation from the ground up with an assortment of first-in-class features”, the MKC is Lincoln’s second vehicle developed to “fuel the brand’s reinvention.”
Those that enjoyed the MKC Concept will be happy to notice that the production model sports a similar design, with very few toned down features, such as the conventional door handless, slightly different taillights and a more common exhaust. The 2015 MKC comes with 18-inch wheels as standard, but 19-inch rollers are available as an option. Speaking of options, Lincoln also offers an all-glass Vista Roof, which can be seen on the model shown below.

Inside, the MKC sports “plush leather with French stitching”, Bridge of Weir leather, real wood trim and Lincoln’s signature push-button gear shifter. There’s also a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a state-of-the-art THX II Certified Audio System and SYNC with MyLincoln Touch and class-exclusive 8-inch touch screen.

Power will be provided by a standard 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-potter rated at 240 HP and 270 lb-ft of torque, while the option sheet will feature an all-new 2.3-liter Ecoboost with 275 horses and 300 lb-ft. The crossover can be had with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive, the latter including Continuously Controlled Damping.

More info on the 2015 Lincoln MKC is available in the official press release below.
