Kia kept their promise and took the opportunity of bringing the facelifted Picanto on the Swiss stage at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. As we alredy knew, the city car's new face is not very changed but still looks better than before.
The 2015 Kia Picanto can be hardly called a facelift, but still, seeing the car in the metal makes you spot changes a lot easier than staring in vain at official photos. Anyway, as you can also see, the 'tiger nose' grille suffered minor changes. The same happened to the front and rear bumpers, but in a rather discrete manner.

However, pay attention to this: Kia is offering new 14-inch alloy wheels along with an optional sports pack which to be honest, sounds and looks more exciting that the word 'facelift' associated to the car.

The interior learned its lesson from other European city cars and offers more color plus new customization options meant to add some joy for the driver and the occupants. However, Kia decided to paint its show cars white, a really bad decision if you ask us. Why not red? Or yellow? Or any other colour except white?

Anyway, the interior also received a 7-inch display which allows the user to surf around the audio, video and navigation menus. Leaning on the technical side, the car's breaking distance has been cut short by 2 meters after engineers installed bigger brakes. But wait, why now and not on the pre-facelift version?

Nevermind, let's talk engines. Picanto facelift will receive a revised 1.0-liter MPI unit complying with Euro 6 emissions standards but we should also expect to see a 1.0-liter TCI unit that comes with 106 HP.
