If you're in the market for a full-size executive sedan but the BMW, Mercedes or Audi model in this segment is a little bit over your budget, then a good alternative is the Kia Cadenza. For the 2015 model year, the South Korean premium sedan offers more for the money than the outgoing model.
A car made in South Korea that costs a tad over $35k seems like an absurd investment at first glance. It's the second most costly Kia sold in the U.S. after the steeply priced K900. But if you think about this matter in detail, you pay a fair amount of dough for a lot of car laden with a broad suite of handy features.

If you were to spec a similarly sized Bimmer or Merc with the same toys you get without ticking any boxes in the options list of the Cadenza, then you would be looking North of $50,000. So what do you get more exactly? Well, a bucket load of space and comfort and numerous features that make life behind the steering wheel and in the passenger seat more enjoyable than in a poorly kitted premium sedan from Germany. Too bad for brand snobbery.

The 2015 Kia Cadenza is available in 2 trim levels, Premium and Limited. Compared to the 2014 model year, the updated Cadenza gets a minor nip-and-tuck job in areas such as the front grille and fenders. As standard, this sedan is equipped with 12-way power driver's seat and 8-way power adjustable passenger seat, while the Limited comes with a goodies bundle consisting of Flex Steer, 360-degree Surround View Monitor, LED lighting elements, an elegant analogue clock and chrome detailing both inside and out.

With the new model, the optional Technology Package has also been extended with new features: 19-inch alloy wheels, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, radar-based Advanced Smart Cruise Control System, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warning, an electronic parking brake and front side windows that repel water for improved improved visibility during rainy weather.
