The facelift for the Jaguar XJ is continuing to be honed in the Arctic conditions provided by the Northernmost parts of Sweden. The British companies engineers have once again left the car out in the open, giving us ample opportunity for us to scoop all the little details.
The XJ is of course Jaguar's flagship sedan model and it's also their first aluminum chassis. It does have a complete lineup of engines that we believe will carry over, but a misfitting exhaust system indicates a new powertrain or an update for an existing one is being developed.
The XJ seems to feature a redesigned front bumper which appears to be rounder and has new air intakes. The changes are so small, we wouldn't be surprised if the actual production model was a little different.
Most new Jaguar and Land Rover models are revealed toward the end of the year and that's when we think the XJ will get its update.
