With the second-generation Jaguar XF, the brand utilized its iQ[Al] aluminum platform know-how to such an extent that the new kid on the block is up to 190 kilograms lighter than the X250 generation.

75 percent of the car is aluminum, a feat that also translates into 28 percent better torsional stiffness over the outgoing model. Curiously, the 2015 Jaguar XF is 3 mm lower and 7 mm shorther than the generation it replaces, yet the 2,960 mm wheelbase is longer.
This translates to more space for the rear passengers and better comfort
"The all-new XF has a clear sense of calm and strength, both outside and inside – and I’m proud of my team for delivering that.” said Ian Callum, Jaguar's design director, about the first Jaguar to offer full-LED headlights.

In terms of powertrains, we're offered with a choice of 2-liter Ingenium diesel engines all the way up to the 2015 Jaguar XF S' 3-liter supercharged V6, with oomph ranging from 163 PS to 380 PS. In the future, we expect a hotter variant developed to take on the BMW M4, animated by Jaguar's 5-liter supercharged V8.

Slated to debut at the New York Auto Show and to arrive in the United States as the 2016 Jaguar XF, the British interceptor also boasts with an all-new 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system dubbed InControl Touch Pro.
