The fact that the 2015 Hyundai Genesis is scheduled to make its debut at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show is no longer a secret, but a recent report unveiled that the new sedan will become available with all-wheel drive.
This will make the Genesis the first Hyundai-badged sedan to sport an all-wheel drive system and will probably lead the way to other similar offerings from the South Korean automaker.
Little else is known about the redesigned Genesis, but word has it the new vehicle will mark a styling departure from the current version, with design cues inspired by the new “fluidic sculpture” language seen on the HCD-14 concept.
The first generation Hyundai Genesis was introduced back in 2008. The second-generation model will rival sedans such as the BMW 3 Series and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
