When it comes to car commercials, some automobile companies are quite genius in their approach, others focus on the funny side of things and others on the idea of family and human relationships.
Hyundai’s latest Super Bowl commercial concentrates on the 2015 Genesis and one of the sedan’s features. The ad is called “Dad’s Sixth Sense” and portrays a number of father-son moments in which the child almost gets hurt but the dad saves him.
The idea is pretty nice as Hyundai found some good yet painful examples to make their point such as tackling a hot barbecue, getting hit with a bat and some other horrific accidents.
So, when the boy doesn’t pay attention to the road (being captivated by the girl he likes), the father won’t actually be able to save him as he isn't in charge of the car. This is where Genesis’ emergency braking system comes in and saves the day.
Some of you might find the ad boring, others might even go “aww, such a good dad,” whatever the case, we believe that the concept is pretty good and the 30-second video is certainly worth watching.
