Honda took their time to detail the new 2015 Jazz destined for the European market after we've seen the car in the metal earlier this year in Geneva, where the B-segment made its debut in March.
New features are on the table for the new 2015 Jazz, which means we'll describe every single one as it follows.

Let's start with the cabin, where Honda tried to used the available space as smart as possible. The new Jazz is 95 mm (3.7 in) longer than the model it replaces, so this feature translates into more room available for passengers. Rear seat passengers, to be more precise, who gain an additional space of 115 mm (4.5 in) for their legs.

Also, Honda kept the center-mounted fuel tank and fitted the Jazz with their trademark Magic Seats. The boot offers 354 liters of cargo space, which can be extended to 1,314 liters once the 60:40 split rear seats are completely folded.

Drivetrain

Another novelty affects the space under the hood, where the new 2015 Jazz will add a new 1.3-liter i-VTEC petrol plant delivering 102 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 123 Nm (91 lb-ft) of torque at 5,000 rpm.

Clients can choose to manage the engine's potential through a six-speed manual transmission instead of the old five-speed choice, or via a CVT gearbox, offered as optional equipment.

Don't expect fast acceleration times from this engine, though, because neither the Jazz nor the unit were built for this purpose. Instead, Honda claims the 1.3-liter mill returns 4.6 l/100 km (61.4 mpg UK, 51.1 mpg US) but as we said earlier, the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is done in 11.2 seconds, while the car's top speed doesn't go higher than 190 km/h (118 mph).

Engineers also came up with an improved suspension set-up destined for European roads use and new AHA (Agile Handling Assist) system to minimize understeer, along with a "faster electric power steering increases feedback for the driver."

Safety features include Forward Collision Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition System, Lane Departure Warning, and High Beam Support System.
