Making its way onto the EICMA show in Milan, the 2015 model cuts a dashing figure with its LED headlights and new body design. You can really tell this large scooter was built with support from a major car company because even the taillights are LED-powered.

Power comes from a liquid-cooled 124.9cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine with four valves. It produces 10.5 kW (14.3 PS) at 8,750 rpm, coupled with 12 Nm of twisting power 500 revs lower. Even though it's quite small, Honda claims the engine is enough for motorway use and offers "class-leading rolling acceleration from 55mph and strong high-speed performance."

The highlight of the powertrain is its Idle Stop Start system, which shuts the engines for short periods in order to save fuel. Honda claims that a careful rider can expect to get up to 43.67 kilometers per liter of fuel (123mpg UK), which on a full 11.5 liter tank equivocates to a 470 kilometer total range.

Are you worried about longer journeys being uncomfortable? Bugs and dirt surely aren't going to be a problem because the windshield adjusts through 6 different positions and 12 centimeters (4 inches).

The new model also features ABS, a great safety feature that's slowly but surely taking over the bike world. With a kerb weight of 162 kilograms (358 lbs), the Forza 125 has the characteristics of a maxi and features 48 liters of under-seat stowage space, enough for two full-face helmets.

The dials of the 2015 Honda Forza 125 are very car-like, featuring two round bezels with deep white color and contrasting red. In the middle, there's a practical but somewhat small LCD display and the dashboard lights below that.

The many models we saw on display at EICMA 2015 also highlighted the many color options and Honda's genuine accessories, which include a welcomed 35L color-matched top box.

The new 2015 Forza model will be available in the UK from early Summer 2015 in three color options:
  • Matt Pearl Cool White with Matt Pacific Blue
  • (Pearl Nightstar Black with Castagna Brown
  • (Moondust Silver with Matt Cynos Grey'
