There aren’t many new things Harley brought to the 2015 version of their Superlow 1200T. The new model year boasts pretty much the same features as the 2014 version, with the new colors being the biggest upgrade for the upcoming season.
While the 2014 Superlow 1200T was available in three color combinations, the 2015 introduces three new liveries for a total of 5 available. New for 2015 are the Black Magic, Deep Jade Pearl/Vivid Black and Superior Blue, adding to the old Vivid Black and Amber Whiskey/Vivid Black. But the new things kind of stop here.

The 2015 Superlow 1200T is loaded with the same 1,202cc air-cooled Evolution v-twin engine, and since the peak torque of 96Nm (70.7lb-ft) is the same, we can assume that the top power is also consistent with the 2014-spec 67 horsepower. The wet weight (in running order) increased to 274 kg (605 lb) from 271.6 kg (599 lb) and the overall length was reduced a bit, just like the ground clearance, while the wheelbase remained unchanged. The seat height of the 2015 model is 705mm, compared to the 702mm of the previous model year (27.7 in vs 27.6 in).

Harley provides the 2015 Superlow 1200T with leather-covered saddlebags, slots for the accessory luggage rack and passenger backrest, and a quick release windscreen. The wheel choice is the same, with split 5-spoke rims in cast aluminium and polished contrast accents. ABS is standard, and it looks like the rider pegs, pretentiously called mini-floorboards have been relocated for better ergonomics.

If a touring 1200 Sportster is your thing and you are looking for a new bike, the 2015 is definitely one of the choices worth considering, especially for riders with a shorter inseam looking for a boost of confidence. Price TBA.
