2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed to Appear on Television this Month

We’ve discovered a lot of goodies at the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed that we would be more than pleased to see once again. It looks like we’re not the only ones to have that thought, considering the auto festival’s organizers have just announced this year’s edition will appear on television three times throughout July on ITV.

Since this year’s edition was the biggest ever, they decided to celebrate it with a line-up of programs. According to Goodwood, a 200,000-strong crowd watched the largest number of cars ever gathered for the show from June 25 through the 28th. The very best of the action was captured on film and will make for the trio of broadcasts on ITV’s Channel.

People will also have the chance to take a closer look at the pick of the cars on offer in the Michelin Supercar Run and the very latest models showcased at the Moving Motor Show presented by the AA in association with the Telegraph. Split into three categories, the first one was named Goodwood: Supercars and will be broadcast on Tuesday, July 7 on ITV4. It takes viewers from the genesis of the genre - the Lamborghini Miura - to the very latest rides including the million dollars hybrids and so on.

Second comes Goodwood Festival of Speed, which will be screened on Wednesday, July 8 on the same channel. Everything from a summary of the entire event to some interesting interviews will make for a delightful recap worth watching.

Last in the line-up is Goodwood: Moving Motor Show, which will air on Thursday, July 9 also on ITV4. Comedian Alan Davies presents a live studio show from the heart of the Goodwood Estate, with a host of celebrity guests joining him on the sofa and heading up Goodwood’s iconic 1.16-mile Hillclimb. Further details can be found in the press release below, but don’t forget to tune in when the time is right.
