2015 Ford Ranger Interior Spied

We've last seen the facelifted Ford Ranger while engineers were testing the pickup truck somewhere in Eastern Europe in XLT Double Cab guise. But that was then and this is now so here's the latest spy photos of the 2015 Ford Ranger spotted towing a trailer in the United States. But the big news is that we've got our hands on the first interior shots of the workhorse.

Although a pesky camouflage blanket obscures most of the upper dashboard, we can surely tell that the center stack has been completely redesigned. Out are the way too many black plastic buttons of yesteryear and in goes an all-new climate control unit and infotainment system, both of them dominated by large rotating knobs.

The steering wheel retains the same four-spoke design as before, but is adorned with way more buttons than its predecessor, which is a tell-tale sign that the facelifted 2015 Ford Ranger will get its fair share of tech and comfort features. The driver's seat on this RHD production-ready vehicle seems to be manually adjustable only.

We can clearly point out that the front grille incorporates a single horizontal bar adorned with the Blue Oval badge right in the middle. The headlight clusters appear to have been slightly redesigned as well, while the bumper blends in with the rest of the front fascia much more graciously than the Toys "R" Us front bumper from the 2013 MY. Round the back we get the same tail lights and tailgate design as before.

Expect the 2015 Ford Ranger to be unveiled later this year. The facelifted truck will most probably hit showrooms in early 2015, while engine choices will include four-pot and five-cylinder mills in both gasoline and diesel flavor.
