2015 Ford Mustang to Take SEMA by Storm With Over 12 Custom Vehicles

Because this is the most revolutionary Mustang to date and the legendary nameplate turned 50 this year, the Blue Oval is going all out with its marketing efforts for the 2015 model year. The latest attempt to hike the new pony's appeal and sales volume is represented by some tune jobs heading for SEMA.

Top tier OEM suppliers and specialty manufacturers such as Roush, Steeda and Galpin Auto Sports are gearing up for the 2014 edition of the SEMA show with what Ford informs to be a total of "over a dozen custom Mustangs." Despite that claim, Ford offered photo evidence of only three of those 'Stangs.

The American carmaker informs that Richard Petty's Garage will be bringing a Roush supercharged V8 Mustang that wears the NASCAR legend's famous blue paint and a No. 43 decal. Apparently, this car is going to be auctioned by Barrett-Jackson for charity.

Further on, Galpin Auto Sports is celebrating 50 years of Mustang with a black and gold anniversary car. This example of the 2015 Ford Mustang breed gets a restyled front and rear fascia and is wearing a metallic gold-flecked black paint and gold badges.

By the way, under the bonnet of Galpin's Mustang is a 5-liter V8 mill that's further animated by a Whipple supercharger to a beastly 725 horsepower. Last but not least, MRT will display a 2.3L EcoBoost 'Stang that's wearing a black and orange two-tone exterior paint job and some go-faster bits and bobs.
