The brand new 2015 Ford Mustang will make its silver screen debut in the highly anticipated Need for Speed movie, which is scheduled to hit theaters on March 14.
The 2015 Mustang will join the bespoke fifth-generation Shelby GT500 hero car that will be driven by Aaron Paul throughout the movie, for its very first big screen appearance.

“On-screen or on the road, the visceral sight and sound of Mustang has been inspiring fans for nearly five decades,” said Jim Farley, Ford executive vice president, global marketing, sales and service and Lincoln. “The feeling of optimism and being in control that Mustang’s world-class power and performance provide is a perfect match for Aaron Paul’s character in ‘Need for Speed.’”

As you might have already guessed, this is just a marketing stunt Ford pulled over for the new pony car. But it really doesn’t bother us. We’d actually enjoy an action-packed movie with the 2015 Mustang as a hero car.
