Revealed almost a week ago, the 2015 Ford Mustang is a long way off from being completely unveiled, as the Blue Oval company is still keeping most details and specs under wraps. This means we could be in for a lot of surprises next year, as the pony car arrives at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show in January.
One of them will be an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) first according to 2015 Mustang chief engineer Dave Pericak, who shared the information, without going into specifics, with Fox News a couple of days ago.
According to him, the new Mustang will get “a lot of new features and technology and I even have some that I’m not ready to tell you about, but we don’t forget how to play to the kid inside of us,” he told Fox News. “We’ve got another feature coming that will be an OEM first.”
A groundbreaking new feature will certainly help the 2015 Mustang gain even more popularity, but we really can’t tell what it could be and we don’t want to take shots in the dark. Looks like we’ll have to wait for the next Detroit Auto Show to kick in to find out more.
