2015 Ford Mustang Named Best All-New Production Vehicle at Chicago Auto Show

The 2015 Ford Mustang was voted the best all-new production vehicle at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show. The car was picked following a ten-day poll of nearly 8,500 consumers, with 25 percent of them voting for the redesigned pony.

The same poll revealed that the Cadillac Elmiraj was chosen the best concept vehicle (29%), the Cadillac ELR was selected the best green vehicle (32%). while Chevrolet won the best exhibit award (20%). Finally, most visitors said the Bugatti Veyron is the vehicle they’d like to have in their driveway.

Each category included eight finalists that were selected by a jury of automotive experts. In the latter category, visitors were able to vote from any of the nearly 1,000 vehicles displayed in Chicago.

“Best of Show voting has become a benchmark measure, and winning in any category is quite meaningful for our manufacturers and exhibitors,” said 2014 Chicago Auto Show chairman Kurt Schiele. “In a year where the show featured three indoor test tracks and six outdoor test drives, consumers had a better chance than ever to evaluate the competitors and let their voice be heard.”
