The highly anticipated sixth-generation Ford Mustang could be officially revealed in December, Mustang6G reports quoting sources inside the company, adding that the musclecar will be previewed in several teasers over the next couple of months.
Although a grain of salt is recommended with this rumor, the news makes some sense, as past reports indicate the 2015 Mustang will make its public debut at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show in January, about half a year before going on sale across the United States.

But until new info surfaces, let’s recap what we already know about the new Mustang. First of all, the sixth-gen iteration will be the first global Mustang, with exports scheduled to hit European and Australian shores. Second, the pony will finally gain an independent rear suspension, while a four-cylinder EcoBoost engine will be introduced in order to make it more popular in Europe.

Also, an unnamed member of the 2015 Mustang development team said the vehicle will be fitted with an array of high-tech features, which could mean a state-of-the-art infotainment and navigation system, a configurable gauge cluster, blind spot detection, lane departure, backup sensors and new suspension technology.
