2015 Ford Focus Facelift HD Wallpapers

In the world of C-segment family cars, the five-door hatchback is king. Customers in the segment look at three make-or-break things before buying such a vehicle: fuel economy, practicality and what the model tells about its owner. Though the VW Golf is, to this day, the undisputed leader in the class, there’s much to like about the 2015 Ford Focus facelift as well, a car that we reviewed only recently.

As with previous reviews, this one also brings its own sextuplet of HD wallpapers, made out of the best moments we’ve had with the 2015 redesign of the popular Focus. Even though it happened on our second day with the car, we deem necessary to start this piece with how a wet circuit helped us find out how the chassis fares when you give it no quarter.

To make a long story short, the 2015 Focus is a bit better than the original Mk3. Its electronic Torque Vectoring system and Control Blade independent rear suspension setup make it the best handling machine in its class. Sorry Volkswagen Golf VII, but the third-gen Focus facelift has this one in the bag.

At times we poked it with a stick, even if our test car was wearing winter rubber and the circuit we tested it on was awash with rain. On the dynamic front, the 2015 Ford Focus never skipped a beat, which is really nice for a vehicle that’s not an even a warm hatch. But there are a few problems with the new kid on the block...

If we were to single out what really bothered us in terms of handling, that’s a little ergonomics mess-up - you can’t turn the traction control by simply pressing a button. As it happens, it takes a lot of effort to turn the driving nannies off because you have to do it by searching through the trip computer’s menu.

Whether it’s finished in metallic red or a deep indigo blue, the 2015 Focus is a treat for the eyes. Designers gave it headlights that are slimmer and more elegant than those of the pre-facelift. If you tick the Xenon pack from the options list, Ford throws in LEDs for the headlights and taillights as well. Beware of low-spec trim levels, though. Those aren’t adorned with the chrome front grille as pictured in the uppermost pic. Why not check out the facelifted Focus in its entirety in our review's photo gallery?
