As its name implies, the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) is the one of the most important tuning shows in the United States. But as it's often the case with big car shows such as this one, both tuning houses and big automakers will display their latest creations and try to win a category's "Best in Show" award for all the most obvious reasons.
In this regard, the Blue Oval has prepared two 2015 F-150 pickup trucks, which will vie for the fifth Hottest Truck award in a row this November at SEMA. Firstly, there's an uber cool drift truck made in collaboration with driftmeister Gittin Jr. Four doors and bed aside, this pickup truck promises a lot.

Starting with 12 inches of King shock-controlled travel for the Kibbetech custom suspension setup, Gittin Jr's 2015 F-150 street truck also boasts with an Air Lift Performance air ride and Recaro seats for all five passengers. "I love trucks, and to build one that has daily on- and off-road capabilities, as well as drifting and jumping capabilities is something I have always wanted to do," said the Formula DRIFT superstar.

From off-road prowess to street performance, these trucks are in with the in crowd

The other SEMA-bound truck developed by the Blue Oval comes in the form of the Deegan 38. Compared to Vaughn's street truck, this is a much more extreme contraption. Co-developed by Ford Racing's Brian Deegan, this 2015 Ford F-150 has been designed for extreme off-road capabilities on very tricky terrain.

It may not be a full-on Dakar racer, but Deegan 38 is quite a showcase with all its specialty components provided by brands such as KC Hilites, Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels, Addictive Desert Designs, FOX Racing Shox, Mastercraft Safety, Rockford Fosgate, Full-Race Motorsports, Leading Edge Tuning, SCT Performance and ProEFI.

"This F-150 should inspire the vast off-road, extreme-lifestyle-loving fan base to push the possibilities of the kick-ass new 2015 F-150 and the awesome 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine," said Deegan about his pride and joy, which will make its debut at SEMA in November.
