Even wondered what the driver of a 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat would ride, if he’d also include motorcycles in his garage? A speeder bike, of course.
Star Wars fans, and not just them, will instantly recognize this machine. While our Charger here is powered by the already famous 707-pony Hellcat supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi vee eight, the speeder bike is motivated by something called a repulsorlift engine. This is, of course, a rendering, with the work coming from digital artist Jonsibal.
Since this is sci-fi territory, we are talking about an anti-gravity effect, which gives makes the bike levitate. The maximum altitude was 10 meters (32 feet), so given the (literally) all terrain abilities of the speeder, makes this more of a rival for another SRT vehicle, the Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Just like all SRT models are powered by engines with a generous number of cylinders, be them naturally-aspirated or forced-fed, the speeder bike shared the aforementioned means of propulsion with just about any vehicle in Star Wars.
PS: wonder what the star trooper thinks about the Hellcat. We're not all that sure about the performance part, but we can be certain about one thing - this sounds meaner than any Star Wars machine we've ever heard.
