You might remember that we've recently shown you a video depicting a Sublime Green 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat bearing Michigan plates. Well, the owner of that vehicle told us that he also owns a 2015 Dodge Challenger Super Bee, and boy it is an exquisite piece of American muscle.
According to the owner's brother, his sister-in-law is Model Responsible for the Challenger. And that kind of explains how this lucky man got hold of two HEMI-powered monsters some months before these babies will hit U.S. showrooms. We've already covered the Hellcat, so let's proceed with the Super Bee variant.

For starters, the 2015 Dodge Challenger Super Bee featured is adorned with a lovely deep, dark blue exterior paint job. Under the bonnet you'll find a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 delivering 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft (644 Nm) of peak torque. From what we can tell from a swift look inside the cabin, this example of the breed is mated to the TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission.

For those who just can't get enough performance driving out of a standard Challenger, this model has all the right goodies to quench that thirst. Performance steering, a high-performance suspension system, harder biting four-piston Brembo brakes, an active exhaust system and 20-inch aluminum wheels are just a few of the them.

You can easily identify the 2015 Dodge Challenger Super Bee by checking if the car has front fender mounted badges depicting a bee and a '6.4L' underneath it in the case of this powerplant. If you're curious how this 185 mph Challenger sounds, then press play and enjoy the aural ride.
