With this year’s edition of the SEMA show less than 24 hours away from opening its doors, a very interesting Mopar muscle car has been teased. Dubbed the 2015 Dodge Challenger 392 Scat Pack Shaker Rapture, this exciting build is the next best thing after the 707 HP Challenger SRT Hellcat.
This extremely wicked-looking project vehicle is slated to make its debut at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Amsoil booth (#24661). Amsoil Inc.’s Facebook page notes in a recent post that this custom beast was built in just seven weeks. As you might’ve guessed by now, the 392 Scat Pack Shaker makes use of a 6.4-liter naturally aspirated V8 mill rated at 485 horsepower an 475 lb-ft (644 Nm) of twisties.

Thanks to the new side exit exhausts, two heat extractors in the hood and a little extra in the engine bay area, we have a sneaking suspicion this car will be a tad more powerful than the factory Dodge Challenger SRT 392 Scat Pack Shaker, something north of 500 ponies if our intuition is correct.

The exterior livery is the product of acclaimed hot rod and custom vehicle designer Murray Pfaff

Those extra aero bits and bobs together with the blocking exterior paint scheme using PPG waterbourne paint is nothing short of stunning. Too bad proper details and figures are ultra limited at the present moment, but still, we can tell you That’s Minor Customs is the outfit that replicated Pfaff’s design to the actual car and developed the super aggressive front splitter, side skirts and that ginormous rear wing.

As for those rims, enthusiasts may want to know that those are Forgeline’s neat RB3 lightweight alloy rims. And if we’re not mistaken, Kooks Head provided the exhaust headers for the HEMI engine, while the side exhaust comes courtesy of Magnaflow. Last but not least, AirLift Performance also appears on the list of companies that made the Rapture turn from fantasy to reality, meaning there’s a trick aftermarket suspension system underneath that gorgeous bodywork.
