Yesterday we showed you a batch of spy photos with the upcoming 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS X218 Shooting Brake facelift, whose driver was apparently checking out from a Spanish hotel near Barcelona.
Today we're bringing you the 63 AMG S-Model version of the same model, which was caught by our spy photographers in the same part of Europe.
Set to be unveiled at the same time as its non-AMG version, the facelifted model in the adjacent photos will sport the same twin-turbocharged, 5.5-liter V8 from the current car.
This means that the 585 hp (577 bhp) and 800 Nm (590 lb ft) of torque will be back to catapult the world's most stylish station wagon from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.7 seconds for the 4Matic version and a little over four seconds for the rear-wheel drive variant – which is only available in left-hand drive countries.
Design-wise, we should see a new E 63 AMG-inspired front apron and slightly tweaked headlights, while the interior's biggest change will consist of a new tablet-like Comand screen.
