As promised, Chrysler developed a totally different 200 model for 2015, adopting a modern design that should help the company gain some ground in the midsize segment.
We’ve already seen the brand new sedan last month, when our spy photographers caught it undisguised, but now we can have a better look at the car, as Chrysler accidentally published a few photos, as well as powertrain and pricing details.
The info sheet published by Jalopnik says the 2015 Chrysler 200 will become available with a 2.4-liter Tigershark (184 HP / 173 lb-ft) standard engine and a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 (295 HP / 262 lb-ft) option, both of which will be spinning the wheel through a nine-speed automatic.
The vehicle will go on sale later this year starting from $21,700 with more than 60 safety and security features and “an array of easy-to-use, state-of-the-art advanced technology to keep drivers connected and informed yet focused on the road.”
