Hello and welcome to the news, weekend style. Most of you have probably seen the last segment in the Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises. We’re probably not spoiling anything for you if we tell you Selina Kyle (a.k.a. catwoman) steels his Aventador and afterwards gets a ride in his flying machine, the batwing. Boy is Bruce bad with women!
But what if the Gotham billionaire had bought a car that was easier on the wallet. What if he bought a Chevrolet! No, not a Corvette, but a Camaro. What would batman’s Camaro look like?
We’ll there’s a new one coming, expected to arrive in 2015, and designers have been dreaming up a million versions. This one, designed by 22-year-old design graduate of Lawrence Tech, Tyler Bame, seems to fit the whole Dark Knight theme brilliantly.
The roof is very low, and the front end is very angular and pronounced. The design is very modern, but of course also very impractical. GM is never going to be able to sell a car with such a low roofline as this.
