If you've been following us yesterday, then you must have already seen Chevrolet's new video for the 2015 Silverado Heavy Duty pickup truck.
The 50-second footage showcases the strengths of the 3500 HD model and lists a number of features that makes the 2015 model year truck better than its predecessor.

Today we're back with more heavy duty action, but the video you're about to see below doens't come from Chevrolet, but via YouTube's Saabkyle04, who has been reviewing numerous US-market vehicles the past 12 months, including the 2014 SRT Viper GTS, the 2014 Chevrolet SS and the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500.

During his most recent visit at Flow Chevrolet, Kyle got up close and personal with the 2015 Silverado 2500 HD and selected a Duramax-powered LTZ model fitted with the Z71 package.

Like the 3500 HD, the 2500 HD Duramax comes with a 6.6-liter turbodiesel V8 engine under the hood. The mill generates 397 horsepower and 765 pound-feet of torque that are sent to the wheels via an Allison 1000 six-speed automatic transmission.

The truck's maximum payload is rated at 3,501 pounds, while the maximum fifth wheel trailering figure tops out at 17,900 pounds.

In case you're wondering about the price of this specific model, a 2015 Silverado 2500 HD Crew Cab in LTZ trim and with the Z71 package fetches nearly $50,000, including destination.
