Word has it the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 will be show to the public at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.
According to Jalopnik, quoting “a reliable source at Lime Rock Park”, both the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and the Corvette C7.R race car will be unveiled together at an upcoming auto show, most like in Detroit in January 2014, where the seventh-generation Vette was also unwrapped.

With six months left until the Detroit Auto Show begins, one can only speculate about what the new Z06 will have to offer. The vehicle could arrive with the same naturally-aspirated 7.0-liter V8 (also found in the Camaro Z/28), but power output is expected to grow from 505 HP to almost 600 HP. We’ll just have to wait on this one...
