As revealed in 2013, Chevrolet has decided to enter the small van pickup with the 2015 City Express, which basically a Nissan NV200 with a Bowtie badge slapped to its front grille.
Revealed a couple of days ago with the same 2.0-liter inline-four engine available in its Japanese twin (131 hp / 139 lb-ft) and a CVT transmission, the 2015 City Express made its official public debut at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show.
Scheduled to go on sale this fall in the United States and Canada, the small van will be offered in LS and LT trims with 122.7 cubic feet of cargo room and an estimated payload capacity of 1,500 pounds. Standard features on the entry level include fold-down passenger seat, cargo-mounting points, vinyl flooring and power windows, while the LT will come with standard remote keyless entry, cruise control and backup sensors.
Pricing for the 2015 City Express will be announced later this year. Until more info is released, make sure you have a look at our photo gallery section for live pictures with van at the Chicago Auto Show.
