American Chevy specialist Callaway debuted the 2015 Callaway Corvette Z06 Package recently and other than the $16,995 price, the package’s figures are kept under wraps. For the time being, we only have a description of the pack’s contents and some pics.
A 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 holds an MSRP of $79,000. Add Callaway’s treatment to the formula and you’re looking at a bruiser worth at least $95,995. As standard, the Z06 develops 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft (881 Nm) from its supercharged V8, so how many ponies does the Callaway Z06 churn out?

It’s mum’s guess at the moment. With the SC627, which is an LT1-engined C7 Corvette Stingray enhanced by a GenThree supercharging kit, Callaway massaged 627 horsepower and 610 lb-ft (827 Nm) of grunt. In the tuned Z06’s case, we’re expecting a lot of extra get-up-and-go for one simple reason:

Callaway’s supercharger system offers 32 percent more displacement than the stock unit

Other than capacity, the company informs that a triple-element intercooler system and performance-oriented manifold design enhance the capabilities of this supercar killer. In addition to the unique oily bits, the outfit offers a lot of standard equipment for the $16,995 you’re charged. A high-flow air intake, carbon engine cover and minor changes to the rear bumper are the highlights, joined by less important details such as the anodized aluminum door sill panels, Callaway badging, build plaque, embroidered floor mats, the lot.

As with any other product sold by Callaway Cars, the 2015 Callaway Corvette Z06 comes with a 3-year or 36,000-mile limited warranty, whichever comes first. This commodity overlaps the factory General Motors warranty, ensuring that Callaway Corvette owners are not blocked from service by GM dealerships.
