Designed to top the luxury SUV segment, the 2015 Escalade sports a brand new exterior that blends the vehicle’s boxy looks with Cadillac’s brand new styling cues and signature design features, such as the vertical LED headlamps, full-LED taillights and the imposing front grille. Just like its predecessors, the 2015 Escalade is not exactly impressive by design, but will stand out in just about any crowd.

More important changes are present, however, in the cabin, where the Escalade no longer looks like Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. And that’s because Cadillac added an array of premium, handcrafted materials, a more refined finishing, triple-sealed doors and more than just a couple of tech features, including a touch-sensitive CUE system, Bluetooth, Blu-Ray DVD rear entertainments, Driver Awareness, Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Lane Change Alert.

The large SUV is powered by GM’s 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 engine that delivers 420 bhp (313 kW) and 460 lb-ft (623 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission, while a four-wheel drive system can be had as an option.

“Cadillac’s growth provides the ideal stage for the all-new Escalade to take a major leap forward,” said Bob Ferguson, senior vice president of Cadillac. “The 2015 Escalade is completely new and elevated in design and technology, inside and out. The clear objective is to once again assume the leadership position among luxury SUVs.”
