Cadillac has fired up the online configurator for the 2015 Escalade SUV, which is on sale as we speak for a starting price set at $72,690.
The luxury vehicle is available in three trim levels - Standard, Luxury and Premium - with either two-wheel or four-wheel drive. Adding the latter to any version will add an extra $2,600, while selecting the long wheelbase ESV model will increase the price by $3,000.
The options list features three exterior colors, a $2,000 Kona Brown/Jet Black leather interior, a set of 22-inch wheels finished in ultra-bright aluminum, power-retractable assist steps and chrome exhaust tips.
Inside, additional equipment includes all-weather floor mats for the first and second row, retractable cargo shade and a rear-seat entertainment system. Adding all the aforemetioned options on an ESV Premium model with four-wheel drive will require a $92,000+ check.
Customers looking for something beyond a Premium Escalade will have to wait for Cadillac to roll out the range-topping Platinum trim level. There's no info on that right now, but we'll be right back as soon as the company spills the beans.
As a brief reminder, the 2015 Escalade has only one engine at its disposal, the 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 mill that generates 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Each SUV will comes with a six-speed automatic transmission and a standard Bose Centerpoint Surround Sound System.
