Just like the Mercedes-Benz S-Class W222 was already in full production in just a couple of weeks from its official unveil back in May 2013, the recently-unveiled C-Class W205 will be already manufactured in no less than four countries in a time span of just six months from now.
Such a full roll-out of production capacities has never been attempted in the history of the model, now spanning four generations (or fifth if you're also counting the Mercedes-Benz 190 W201).
According to MB Passion, who are quoting an interview by Mercedes-Benz Head of Production, Andreas Renschler, the new C-Class will be at first built in Germany, The United States, South Africa and China.
The production network is being infused with an investment of two billion Euros in the next couple of years, which will see the Mercedes-Benz C-Class W205 also be manufactured in Brazil and a couple of other CKD (Knocked-Down Kits) in other countries as well.
