For the first time since we began spotting pre-production prototypes of the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG (W205), we finally catch one without full body camouflage.
As you can see in the adjacent photo gallery, this car was caught by our spy photographers sporting heavier camo mainly in the front, where the new AMG bumper with a rather large pair of air intakes should still remain a mystery for the time being.

Fortunately, we can see enough to realize that the lower part of the car's front end will be inspired by the E 63 AMG facelift, with the stylized “A” being divided in half.

The different front and rear light-alloy wheels allow us to check out the massive carbon-ceramic disc brakes, while the semi camouflaged rear bumper houses a pair of oversized twin exhaust tips flanking an aerodynamic diffuser which may or may not be functional.

The odd bit is the fact that the headlights seem to sport halogen lamps, as we would have expected that the C 63 AMG W205 will come with at least the middle LED system in standard, especially considering that it will be a tad more expensive than the current W204 model.

As some of you already know, the upcoming Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG W205 is set to be unveiled at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, and recent reports suggest that it will sport 476 hp in the “standard” version, while an S-Model should offer at least 510 hp and (maybe) 4Matic all-wheel drive.

The power figures should arrive courtesy of an all-new twin-turbocharged V8 engine, internally-codenamed M177 on the C 63 AMG and M178 on the upcoming AMG GT (C190).

Based on two M133 engines from the A 45, CLA 45 and GLA 45 AMG fused together, the resulting four-liter powerplant will offer direct injection and twin-scroll turbochargers situated in the middle of the cylinder lines instead of the exterior.
