Now that the X6 M cat’s out of the bag, it’s time to let people go crazy with their ideas and see what they come up with. The guys from X-Tomi Design didn’t waste any time and got to rendering the new model. What they came up with is... interesting.
I said it before and I’m not afraid to say it again: bagged cars make me sick. However, in some SUV cases they might just work. I’m talking about cars like the X5 and X6 of course, that offer bigger ground clearance just because the law says they are SUVs.

During their lifetime, nobody will ever take them off road, especially if it’s an M model. You have a better chance to find them on a track than in dirt, no matter how ridiculous this second option sounds like.

That means that extra ground clearance is rather redundant. In these cases, maybe you can lower them a bit but not to the extreme so that they end up having their camber angle messed up and sitting on tilted wheels.

Just like the car rendered by X-Tomi design here. They changed the color of the X6 M and then added the world famous Vossen VLE-1 wheels. Meant to be manufactured in just 400 sets, the special, directional rims were supposed to cost under $3,000. However, some people wanted to capitalize on their exclusive character and ended up asking around $40,000 for a set. That’s nearly half of what you’d have to pay for an X6 M. No thank you!
