2015 BMW X4 Standard Equipment Revealed

BMW’s latest model revealed today, the X4, will be fitted with more standard kit than its SUV brother, the X3, to justify the higher price tag. All over the world, there will be only two trim lines available, xLine and M Sport.

In the US, standard features include power tailgate, sport leather steering wheel with shift paddles, variable sport steering, Performance Control xDrive and rear Park Distance Control.

Getting the M Sport line adds the M Aerodynamics package, high gloss shadow line trim, Sport suspension, six various paint finishes (including Melbourne Red metallic), four special interior trim strips, sports seats with various leather upholstery options, Anthracite headliner, M leather steering wheel, M door sill finishers, M driver’s footrest and a choice of 19 or 20-inch M light-alloy wheels. As a premiere, you can now choose to go with fuel saving tires from the get go, accompanied by similarly efficient rims, if you want to.

The xLine trim package comes with even more upholstery choices, more exterior paint finishes, light alloy wheels and a wide variety of interior trims. Amongst the optional features you can get for the X4 you’ll find LED foglights, Smart Opener (activation of the tailgate by foot movement under the rear bumper), BMW’s Proactive Driving Assistant (uses navigation to calibrate the gearbox and save more fuel), color Head-Up Display and many others.

Prices for the X4 start at $45,625 for the xDrive28i model and $48,925 for the xDrive35i, including destination and handling.
