The prices for the LCI X3 model have been released today and I’m glad to tell you that the new entry level model is actually cheaper than the outgoing one that it’s replacing.
Up until now, the entry-level X3 was the xDrive28i model in the US that had a starting price of $39,800 without the handling and shipping tax included. The new option, the sDrive28i (RWD) version will start at $39,325, tax included.

The all-wheel-drive version of this model will start at $40,725 while the top of the line xDrive35i version will have a $45,825 starting price. Of course, as we told you earlier, there will also be a diesel model coming to the US this year, in the shape of the xDrive28d. This one will start at $42,825.

All four models will now be available with the new xLine package that adds metallic inserts in bumpers, satin aluminum side cladding and bars in air intakes, simulated under guards at the front and rear and additional leather upholstery variants with 19” alloy wheels as optionals.
