As usual with its facelifts, or Life Cycle Impulse moves, as BMW calls them, the visual changes are limited. Extremely limited. Nonetheless, there are enough updates underneath the skin, which is why we recently had an encounter with the 2015 BMW X3. While we were at it, we decided to cook a series of HD Wallpapers for your personal pleasure.

The front fascia is where the most exterior revisions took place. Notice how the kidney grilles now extend into the headlights - this is a feature introduced on the F30 3 Series and it appears it’s here to stay. As for the light clusters, these deserve some special attention, so they received their own piece of the digital world below.

BMW’s crossovers were never meant for offroading, but it seems that the Bavarians have completely given up on any potential form of marriage between their SAVs / SACs and the lack of asphalt. While the X3 can get you out of light and moderate softroading situations, it’s best to keep it on the road.

The company behind the roundel has changed its ways quite a bit since the first generation of the X3 was introduced. Back then, the model was considered a rebel in BMW’s line-up, but with the company’s burning passion for niches, the X3 can almost be called a classic nowadays.

Ah yes, the Adaptive LED Headlights. While we’ve found implementations with brigther LED light (Porsche is an example), we were super-pleased by the high beam assistant. This basically builds cones of shadow around the cars in front of you, so while you can use the high beam almost all the time, those drivers won’t be dazzled. From behind the wheel, it all feels like you’re shooting shadows. Cool.

The transformation of the instrument panel is just as subtle as that of the exterior. While some may complain about the lack of proper visual changes, this also brings benefits for existing customers, who will never feel left behind. And to get a better idea of how the vehicle looks now, you can check out the Full HD Photo Gallery of our 2015 BMW X3 review.
