The new BMW M4 was just put to the test the BMW Snow and Ice Training school in Solden, Austria, as all M cars do at one point or another. Luckily for us, the Germans also had a good photographer there with them to document the experience.
Needless to say that the resulting photos are beautiful and could easily be used as a wallpaper on your PC, Mac or smartphone and we gathered them all up in the gallery below.
The new M4 will replace the M3 Coupe in BMW’s line-up and is expected to represent the return of the M brand as we knew it. Weighing just under 1,500 kg (3,300 lbs), the new model will be lighter and more powerful than the outgoing car it’s replacing.
Using a 3-liter biturbo engine that makes 431 HP and 550 lb-ft (406 lb-ft) of torque hooked up to a new 6-speed manual gearbox, the car will do the 60 mph sprint in just 4.1 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster with the 7-speed DCT gearbox. Deliveries will begin this summer.
