The world is filled with all sorts of tuning companies that want your money and your car to turn them into something special. Some of them are just ‘ok’ at it though, while some have been doing it for so long that it’s actually a safe bet to allow them to work on your car.
In the case of BMW, there are a few such companies out there, especially in Germany. Out of the bunch, the most notable are definitely AC Schnitzer, Hamann and Alpina. Sure, the last one can be considered a standalone manufacturer as its vehicles have their own VIN numbers but in reality, they are also some sort of tuners.
Hamann Motorsport just launched a full set focused on the new BMW M4. The German company is known for not paying exceptional attention to cars smaller than the 5 Series and that they don’t usually work on the 3 Series, at least from an aerodynamic point of view. However, they do seem to give the new M4 special attention and we’re more than glad about it.
Their model was dressed in the Austin Yellow paint the Germans developed especially for the new M car. Up front it’s wearing a gloss black Performance grille and it seems to be quite well equipped as well, with the $8,000 Carbon Ceramic Brakes immediately being noticed thanks to their golden calipers.
As far as their tuning went, for now, they stuck to just a new set of wheels and some stickers in key places, like above the side gills on the front fenders.
The wheel fitment though is just perfect. We’ve seen the M4 on a variety of wheels so far but none of them seemed to do it justice as well as these 21 inch models. And Hamann certainly went all out when shooting the photos in the adjacent gallery.
From the Anniversary ‘EVO’ Silver wheels, to the ‘Anodized’ Edition Race ones and the Unique Forged ‘Formula’ model, every single one looks absolutely brilliant on the M4. Some sort of sorcery must’ve been involved here as we don’t usually fall head over heals about Hamann wheels but in this instance, we’re simply blown away!
