It's only been a day since BMW officially revealed the new M3 and already this Bavarian masterpiece has captured everybody's attention, not to mention their imagination. Not surprisingly, rendering are popping out left and right, showing us what should have been, might have been or will be in the future.
BMW M3 Touring has been rendered by X-Tomi Design from Hungary. It's not that bad an idea, one which people have had for years. Audi is the master of compact sports estates and Mercedes's AMG C-Touring is a well respected model, especially in its 507 form.
But in reality, customers don't need the feel of an M steering system, suspension or the power of that engine. A car like the 335d xDrive Touring should be more than enough for most, so we don't think we'll ever see this Yas Marina Blue estate with four tailpipes sliding its tail at an intersection near us.
