In it we can observe none other than the M135i model in its natural habitat. Keep quiet, you don’t want to scare it! This specimen is dressed in Valencia Orange and looks stunning!

Leaving aside the National Geographic comments, the M135i really does look the part. On the new model BMW decided to go with a more familiar approach that closer in design to the more recent models.

The air intakes on the sides of the front bumper have been modified, enlarged and now resemble those used on its SUV models when it comes to the M Sport package. Oh, and in case you didn’t notice, the headlamps are also different, showing a big improvement over the ones that were initially introduced.

Under the bonnet, the LCI M135i uses the same plant as the M235i model, a 326 HP and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) mill that’s more than enough for this size. With it, the hatchback can go up to 100 km/h (62 mph) in under 5 seconds when fitted with the optional xDrive system. When all of the grunt goes to the rear wheels alone, the same sprint takes 5.1 seconds.

Looking at the photo gallery, what do you think of the new 1 Series? Is it a big improvement or are the changes for the worse? Let us know in the comments section below.
