BMW unveiled its next BMW M3 at the 2014 Detroit Motor Show and, along with it, all the specs and technical details we needed to know. Now, all that’s left is to wait and drive one.
Along with the first reviews, a couple of people will surely find something wrong with it. Hopefully, it won’t be a technical flaw or an area that could use some improvement. I’m seriously hoping it’s going to be an issue that aftermarket manufacturers can easily fix.
One such problem could be the design of the wheels. I’m crazy about the design BMW went for but might want a bit more diversity. In this regard, Thomas van Rooij did a rendering for Baan Velgen showcasing how the F80 M3 would look like on ADV.1 wheels, some of the best in the business.
He chose the MV.1 forged rims in a brushed aluminum finish that go perfectly with the Alpine White paint and the red brake calipers. If the real-life result will look like this, I’m down for one!
