The world is still waiting for the BMW X6 to evolve into a new model, on pace with the current Bavarian trends. The E71 model was launched back in 2009 and since then a lot of things happened in Munich.
They even adopted a new design line that sees the headlights connected to the kidney grille, all in the attempt to bring more customers to the propeller-badged automobiles.
Since all these changes happened in these past few years, the X6 was quite overlooked until now. The engineers are testing the new F16 model as we speak on the Nurburgring and our photographers caught up with it.
The prototype in the video seems to be an xDrive50i by the V8 sound it makes as we're expecting the new model to come out with similar engines as its X5 brother but with a bit less weight and more headroom in the back.
