Just before the year’s end, BMW unveiled its refreshed 6 Series range that, to be honest, left us a little disappointed. The small changes operated to the 6ers were expected as the Germans rarely change their lineup drastically when performing a Life Cycle Impulse (as they call facelifts) but even by their standards this was not what we hoped for.
Basically, the only major change focused on the headlights that will from now on get LED tech as standard and a new design. Even so, life goes on and the niche that this model appeals to seems to be safe and sound. Therefore, the BMW team decided to focus on other things rather than in changes done in design.
In this regard, the attention went to details and especially the Individual range. To showcase their capabilities in this field, BMW just posted a couple of photos of the new 6 Series Gran Coupe dressed to the nines.
On the outside we can notice Individual wheels and what looks like Frozen Brilliant White paint while the interior is adorned with the most exclusive materials.
Full Merino Leather dominates the atmosphere in Amaro Brown coupled with a BMW Individual wood inlay steering wheel and White Ash Gran wood trims all around. Another interesting detail we spotted is the Bang&Olufsen sound system.
Overall, it’s all looking great but how much do all of these cost? Not as much as you might think. People usually get scared when they hear the word ‘Individual’ but looking over the catalogue prices you might be surprised.
The Merino leather costs $3,500 while the white wood trims will set you back $1,080. Add in the Bang&Olufsen sound system for $3,700, Individual steering wheel for $800 and the Individual paint that costs $1,950 and your grand total reaches $11,030.
