Model Year 2015, so that's a brand new car? Why yes, yes it is. Meet the Bilenkin Vintage, made by skilled Russian fabricators to mirror a classic Volga coupe that itself somewhat copied the iconic Volvo P1800.
Before we say anything else, let's get one thing straight: some of the details are so beautiful they will make you want to bite the back of your hand.

According to the manufacturer's website, the donor car is the BMW E92, otherwise known as the old 3-Series coupe. Nothing else is specified, but from what we've been able to gather, the two-tonne car shown above has the 420 horsepower V8 engine of the M3 and made its debut earlier this month at the 2015 Dubai Motor Show. Meanwhile, the black model is based on a regular 3 Series Coupe and packs a 300 horsepower 3.0-liter engine, probably the N55.

"Our vehicles keep traditions of iconic automotive designs of the second half of the twentieth century demonstrating your taste, style and personality. Sports coupe 'Vintage' is our latest project; built on the modern BMW E92 platform, it is intended to embody elegance and style along with the principle 'Sheer Driving Pleasure'," the official website reads.

Bilenkin Vintage was created in Moscow by car stylist Kirill Bilenkin and a car customizer house called CARDI.

Nobody makes cars like this anymore. Every panel has some sort of custom-made chrome piece, including the bumpers and fenders. It makes you wonder if the Russians got that memo that said chrome plating was very toxic, possibly even illegal.

Of course, there's a two-tone paint job that echoes Bond's Aston Martin DB5, but the twin exhaust system doesn't offer the slightest hint of the power available. Even the standard 335i is insanely fast by the standards of the 1970s.

As interesting as the outside is, it can't hold a candle to the spectacular interior. The details are endless, but there's a wood dashboard that looks like it's made with rear veneer, not plastic like in most modern cars. The dashboard is made using a combination of precious metals and nacre while the gear shifter has a crystal at the top. The seats are impeccably trimmed with colorful fabric, tanned leather, and blue piping.

Words don't do this car justice, so we're going to let you decide for yourselves if the Bilenkin Vintage is worth €130,000 or not.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
