Well, well, well, what do we have here? Might this be the very first official photo of the TT Coupe, perhaps intentionally let slip by Audi in order to find its way onto the internet?!
Just like Obi-Wan, we could have just convinced you that "these aren't the droids you are looking for" until the actual debut of the new Audi coupe takes place in Geneva next week. But the TT is so relevant to what European buyers want that a small, blacked out photo sparked our curiosity. It shows one particular detail in quite a lot of detail: the taillights.
In a previous statement, Audi said these fixtures remain permanently on. Another feature that's visible in the photos is a strip of red lights that connects the two taillights to each other. This appears to be an integral part of the boot lid.
"Sharper lines and a more dramatic interplay between surfaces will be particularly notable features of the third generation of the Audi TT, but they only scratch the surface of a pedigree sports car that has been systematically refined in every department, both inside and out," Audi says.
Look for the official debut of the car on March 4th or sooner of a full set of pictures leaks out.
