2015 Aprilia RS4 125 Replica Looks Smashing

When you’re a “young Padawan” dreaming to somehow find a way to make years pass by faster, the only comfort you can get is riding a replica motorcycle in the livery of the real racing monsters. And because Aprilia knows this only too well, here’s a most nifty treat for riders looking for their first step in the real motorcycles’ world: the 2015 Aprilia RS4 125 Replica.

A machine which mimics the looks and liveries of Aprilia’s top-level World Superbike beasts, the RS4 125 Replica was engineered with the same careful aerodynamics, and a real SBK-derived frame. Two lateral beams of die-cast aluminium alloy with crossed reinforcements provide excellent stiffness and torsional rigidity. The 41mm USD fork comes with black anodized stanchions and sleeves, while the rear shocks in mounted directly on the asymmetrical swingarm.

The Aprilia RS4 125 Replica is brought to life by an injected 4-stroke, DOHC 124.8cc single, with a peak power of 15 hp @ 10,500 rpm and a top torque of 10.9 Nm (8 lb-ft) at 8,250 revs. Liquid cooling ensures constant performance in any conditions, while the front 300mm rotor and the rear 218mm one provide race-ready stopping power, both actuated by braided lines.

With a seat height of 820mm (32.3”) the 2015 Aprilia RS4 125 Replica is a reassuring ride for pretty much any young pilot, and provides a good sporty riding position even to adults. A 14-liter (3.7 US gal) fuel tank provides a generous range, and the street-legal trim also makes this bike a nifty, economical, and good-looking commuter if necessary.

The livery is doubtlessly one of the strongest selling points for this bike, as it has been designed in the likeliness of what can be seen on Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri’s bikes in the 2014 World Superbike. European prices are around the €4,699 ($6,390) mark.
