Yamaha updates the premium-packed Super Tenere big-bore enduro-tourer codenamed XT1200ZE, and now offers electronically-adjustable suspensions as a standard.
The suspension settings can be easily accessed using the handlebar-mounted switches and no less than 84 different combinations will be available. Also on the electronics side, customers receive sport and town mappings, cruise control and a 3-stage traction control system
Super Tenere XT1200ZE also shares the 4-position windscreen and height-adjustable seat of the 1200Z model, and the revised bodywork styling. As a ZE-specific trim, the bike gets heated grips, a top case, center stand and hand protectors ex-works.
The 1199cc parallel twin engine is fed from a 23-liter fuel tank and delivers 112 hp @7250 rpm and 117.0 Nm (89 ft-lbs) of torque at 6000 rpm. The shaft drive ensures hassle-free performance while the linked ABS brakes add to the safety rating.
