Feel like adding even more nerve to your 2014 Yamaha VMAX? Good, because Akrapovic has been working on your all-new titanium exhausts and is now offering upgrades in the form of slip-on cans or a full system.
The titanium silencers are completer with CNC-machined aluminium end caps and are perfectly fitting the lines of the bike, for compact, impeccable looks. An additional dB killer is available for these cans, and it will bring the sound from 102 to 100 decibels.
You'll get the acclaimed Akrapovic sound form these cans and 2.4 extra hp @ 9,000 rpm, while torque will increase with 1.9 Nm (1.4 lb-ft)at 8,300 rpm. 1.2 kg (2.6 lbs) will come off your 2014 VMAX, as well.
As cans for the older models are selling around the $1,200 (€870) mark, we guess these 2014 ones do so, too.
